Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Friday predicted the fall of Congress Government in the State in near future.
Talking to media persons during his visit to Chittoor district, Naidu said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had become politically insecure and hence, was harping on welfare and populist schemes for his survival. He said that the Congress was on the verge of collapse in the state and described it as a sinking ship.
Naidu appealed to the TDP cadre to prepare themselves for the mid-terms elections in near future. Stating that corruption would be a major issue in the next elections, he accused the Congress party of encouraging and ignoring corruption. He said that the Congress high command had completely ignored the corrupt practices of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy which led to huge losses to the state exchequer.
Naidu demanded probe against all who were involved in various scams and asked the government to attach their properties, if proved guilty. He sought resignation of all tainted politicians and help the probing agencies for completion of impartial probe against them. He said the poverty in the country could be removed with the recovery of money from scam tainted people.
